Job summary

Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. seeks a Preventive Maintenance & Compliance Specialist to manage asset identification, maintenance programs, and compliance across Frederick facilities.

You will coordinate data entry in Maximo, update safety plans, and support continuous improvement in asset lifecycle management. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliability, safety, and readiness of laboratory infrastructure, equipment, and related systems, while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of craft/trade-related experience in maintenance, facilities, or asset management.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, and work in various environments.
• Experience using EAM or CMMS systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and drive results.
• This position is safety sensitive and involves drug screening per policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys to verify asset identification and data entry in Maximo.
• Develop and oversee asset life cycle maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Review and update Safety Plans for all assets to comply with policies.
• Maintain Energy Control Procedures for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with shop supervisors to update Job Plans for maintenance activities.
• Analyze repair data and propose utility system upgrades or replacements.
• Reconcile warehouse inventory with asset records to complete spare parts inventory.
