Job summary

Ryan Companies US Inc in downtown Minneapolis is hiring an Asset Management Associate to lead financial modeling in Argus and Excel, coordinate lease NPV analyses, and manage cash flow and distributions for the firm’s real estate investments.

You will partner with accounting, capital markets and portfolio management to forecast performance, implement capital improvement plans, prepare investment memorandums, and mentor junior analysts, with occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• 4–8 years’ experience as an analyst in CRE.
• Asset management experience preferred but not required.
• Experience forecasting and modeling CRE investments with valuation concepts.
• Proficient in Excel; Argus experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage creation and modification of financial models in Argus and Excel.
• Coordinate lease NPV analysis and impacts on asset value and cash flow.
• Lead cash flow and property distributions with accounting team.
• Develop and manage capital improvement plans with cost-benefit analysis.
• Provide leadership to property managers and review operating budgets.
• Review monthly property reports and cash flow forecasts; follow up on variances.
• Partner with Ryan Capital Markets to analyze loan refinancings or restructurings.
• Partner with Ryan Portfolio Management for quarterly reforecasting and reporting.
