Ryan Companies Inc. is hiring a Capital Markets Associate to join the Ryan Investment Group in downtown Chicago. You will lead underwriting and financial modeling for development projects, supporting JV equity capitalization and interactions with capital providers.

The role requires 4+ years in real estate capital markets, strong Excel modeling, and Argus familiarity. You will collaborate on market analyses, prepare marketing materials, and mentor analysts while traveling occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years real estate capital markets experience required.
• Proven ability to create and modify sophisticated financial models in Excel.
• Strong proficiency in underwriting and valuation/feasibility analysis for CRE assets.
• Ability to interpret loan, sale, and joint venture documents and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and financial modeling for development projects, including waterfalls and JV structuring.
• Support capitalization of identified development projects with JV equity.
• Create and modify sophisticated financial models in Excel, ensuring accuracy with project story.
• Collaborate with marketing to produce accurate offer materials and executive summaries.
• Support cap rate guidance by performing market analysis and tracking comps.
