Job summary

Hackberry Lane is seeking an Asset Management Analyst in New York, NY for a full-time role. You will work with the Asset Management Associate and executive team on budgets, reporting, and strategic initiatives across a growing portfolio.

The position focuses on building monthly asset reports, monitoring rent collection, and supporting investor and lender reporting. A metrics-driven, detail-oriented analyst will thrive in our entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in real estate, asset management, investment banking, consulting or a related field.
• Very strong in Excel and PowerPoint; able to build a clean model and explain it clearly.
• Curious about real estate and how good operations drive returns.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain monthly asset reports: budget-to-actual variance analysis, T12 trends, NOI tracking and KPI dashboards for each property.
• Track rent collection and delinquency every week, flag problems early, and work with property teams on fixes.
• Prepare investor, lender and internal reporting packages, including covenant tracking and quarterly updates.
• Help build each property’s annual budget and update reforecasts as the year goes on.
