Position Description
The Asset Management Analyst analyzes, reviews, and reports on properties regularly to maximize portfolio value and prepare comprehensive reports and models needed for asset management and reporting purposes. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually.

Essential Functions

Analysis

• Prepare and analyze updates to financial models and proformas, ensuring accuracy and completeness through validation and communication with Asset Managers.
• Summarize analysis results, communicate findings, and identify key concerns.
• Scrub operational data for accuracy and analyze trends.

Information Extraction

• Extract data from accounting systems and liaise with Fund Accounting to ensure accuracy.
• Source industry, market, and forecast data.

Reporting

• Generate and analyze reports on monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
• Investigate variances and maintain reporting documentation for stakeholders.

Process Improvement

• Streamline analytical processes and recommend revenue or cost-saving measures.

Assistance

• Support sale and refinancing analyses and related transactions.
• Assist Asset Managers with partnership responsibilities.

Business Plans

• Develop and maintain business plan proformas.

Valuation

• Assist with property valuation processes and respond promptly to Portfolio Management during quarterly valuations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• CPA or CFA certifications are a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with multitasking ability and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
