A global bank is seeking a Business Analyst (FBTI or Loan IQ) to join our IT Global Banking team, providing critical support to our Global Banking operations clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Global Finance and Trade Finance processes and a proven ability to troubleshoot issues, maintain system stability, and analyze user needs. The Business Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Global Finance and Trade Finance systems, working closely with IT and business stakeholders to resolve incidents and document user requirements. Experience in banking or financial services is highly desired. This role will focus on supporting existing systems and processes, and small evolutions rather than driving large-scale implementations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst (FBTI or Loan IQ) will:

Analyze incidents and technical anomalies to identify root causes and work to resolve issues. Assist Operations users with FBTI and Loan IQ application functionality.

• Create How To Documents and build local Support Library Collaborate with stakeholders in various Global Banking business units (e.g., Trade Finance, Payments, Lending) to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
• Develop comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications documents (FSDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Conduct data analysis and Power BI visualization to support the Global Banking Operations Team.
• Create process flow diagrams of present and future state development; Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive collaborative problem-solving.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT systems and processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the user experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Global Banking. Strong knowledge of Global Banking products.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as PowerBI, SQL Queries and working with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive a topic forward to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Experience with Loan IQ or FBTI software or equivalent
