Job summary

AerSale, Inc. in Florida is seeking a skilled accountant to manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and deliver accurate financial reporting across the asset portfolio.

The role collaborates with multiple departments, supports audits, and advances procedures to improve efficiency. Minimum 3–5 years in corporate accounting and a Bachelor's in Accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a mid-sized corporate environment.
• Strong communication and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Prepare timely financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Monitor department workflows to improve procedures and efficiency.
• Interface with other departments to verify transaction data.
• Assist with non-routine reporting and inquiries from the CEO.
• Support year-end audit with retained auditors.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilites

• Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Assist with the timely reporting of all monthly financial information, including but not limited to timely account reconciliations and journal entry preparation with a focus on the asset portfolio.
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues.
• Support handling of non-route reporting transactions.
• Respond to inquiries from the CEO regarding financial results, special reporting request
• Work with the retained audit firm to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
• Support the financial reporting function to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Work with direct report to establish performance goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a mid-sized corporate accounting environment

Skills And Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Adequate technical accounting experience
