Job summary

Ironclad Powered by Mersino seeks a skilled Mechanic to repair, service, and maintain its fleet of pumps, frac tanks, and related equipment. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, perform routine maintenance, and ensure accurate maintenance records while complying with safety and environmental standards.

This role requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, a flexible schedule, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Degree or certificate in diesel or heavy-duty repairs desirable.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with diagnosing/mechanically repairing equipment using current tech.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain fleet, frac tanks and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
• Complete service and maintenance on all equipment.
• Perform quality checks on repaired equipment.
• Disassemble/assemble pumping equipment and mechanisms as needed.
• Repair submersible and centrifugal pumps and generators.
• Maintain service records and documentation for repairs.
• Keep work area clean and organized for efficient operations.
• Dispose of hazardous materials per regulations and standards.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental rules.

About The Role

The primary responsibility of the Mechanic is to repair, service and maintain branch equipment including pumps, generators, frac tanks and other mechanical equipment.

What You Will Do

• Service, repair, and maintain the company’s fleet, frac tanks, and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and execute necessary repairs
• Complete necessary service and maintenance on all equipment
• Perform quality checks on repaired equipment
• Perform manual disassembly and assembly of pumping equipment and mechanisms
• Repair and maintain submersible and centrifugal pumps as well as generators
• Maintain service order process, including providing descriptions of repairs on maintenance on mechanical equipment's; file appropriate documentation as required
• Keep work area clean and organized for enhanced shop operations
• Maintain accurate service records on all equipment serviced
• Dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with company and regulatory agency requirements
• Adhere to applicable company and regulatory agency environmental, health and safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in the service and repair of large equipment preferred
• Degree or certificate in diesel or heavy-duty repairs or related field desired
• Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects
• Proficient in utilizing current technology to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment
