Geotab Inc. is seeking a Head of Asset Lifecycle Planning to own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Asset Lifecycle Planning domain.

The role spans replacement, right-sizing, reallocation, and TCO analytics to help customers deploy right-sized assets at the lowest total cost of ownership. You will lead a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers, collaborate with platform and segment leads, and translate strategic directions into measurable outcomes that

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, product engineering, or related customer-facing product roles.
• 5+ years of senior product and people leadership with cross-functional scope and direct accountability for customer-facing business outcomes.
• Strong product leadership capability with demonstrated ability to define and execute customer-facing product strategy tied to measurable business outcomes, with P&L literacy and revenue attribution.
• Deep customer empathy and commercial instinct — proven ability to connect customer pain to market opportunity, product investment, and business value.
• Cross-functional leadership experience across product management, product design, and product engineering disciplines, with the ability to operate at the intersection of business strategy, customer experience, and technical execution.
• Proficient in defining and tracking product KPIs, customer adoption metrics, and outcome-linked business indicators; familiarity with modern product discovery and validation practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to build effective partnerships with platform teams, segment leads, and executive leadership in evolving, ambiguous organizational structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience); relevant product management certifications (e.g., PSPO, CPO) considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Asset Lifecycle Planning domain.
• Translate board-level direction into product execution and ensuring confident, defensible capital decisions are made inside the product.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and product engineers, as well as partner with Maintenance domain, platform teams, segment leads, and executive leadership.
• Be a customer-obsessed, strategic leader with strong commercial instinct and ability to connect customer pain to market opportunity and business value.
• Lead cross-functional leadership across product management, design, and engineering; build and develop high-performing teams.
• Define and track KPIs, adoption metrics, and outcome-linked business indicators; coordinate with leadership on roadmap and delivery health.
• Establish feedback loops with customers, sales, and support to capture product gaps and translate into improvements.
