Job summary

ITS Logistics is seeking an Asset Maintenance Manager to own the lifecycle of Class 8 assets, emphasizing trailer utilization, maintenance oversight, compliance, and total cost of ownership. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, customers, vendors, and OEMs to ensure assets are available, productive, and compliant.

The role requires 3+ years in fleet/asset management, knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in fleet management, asset management, trucking operations, or related field.
Experience managing Class 8 equipment or dry van trailers.
Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations governing trailers and CMV.
Experience with fleet management, TMS, GPS or telematics platforms.
Experience negotiating with vendors and managing maintenance providers.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end asset lifecycle from specification to disposal.
Monitor fleet size, utilization, downtime, and total cost of ownership.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, vendors, and customers to maximize uptime.
Ensure fleet assets remain compliant with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
Prepare regular fleet performance reports for leadership.
