Job summary

ITS Logistics is seeking an Asset Maintenance Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of Class 8 assets, focusing on trailer utilization, maintenance oversight, compliance, cost control, and disposition. The role collaborates with operations, maintenance teams, vendors, OEMs, dealers, leasing companies, and terminal partners to ensure assets are available, productive, and well-maintained.

The position emphasizes uptime, total cost of ownership, and DOT/FMCSA compliance, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Oversee asset lifecycle planning and fleet management.
• Experience with fleet utilization and transportation management.
• Maintenance planning and asset reliability oversight.
• Regulatory compliance experience with FMCSA/DOT.
• Vendor management and procurement experience.
• Data, reporting and total cost of ownership analysis.

Responsibilities

• Asset Lifecycle & Fleet Management: manage lifecycle from acquisition to disposal and optimize fleet usage.
• Fleet Utilization & Transportation Management: monitor trailer location, idle time, and coordinate with partners to meet freight demand.
• Maintenance & Asset Reliability: oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and downtime reduction.
• Compliance & Regulatory Management: ensure FMCSA/DOT compliance, licensing and record-keeping.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: negotiate with OEMs/dealers, manage vendor relationships and pricing.
• Data, Reporting & Financial Analysis: maintain asset records and analyze total cost of ownership.
