Job summary

Exelon is seeking a General Engineer to manage transmission and substation assets using Cascade and Asset Suite 8. Responsibilities include lifecycle cost management, maintenance effectiveness, and data analysis to improve asset performance.

The role requires broad utility operations knowledge, developing engineering solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Expect collaboration across departments and external stakeholders, with potential extended hours during storms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer
• 4–7 years of professional engineering experience
• Broad knowledge of regulations, codes, and advanced engineering principles
• Experience with Cascade and Asset Suite 8 for asset management
• Experience with Power BI, Excel, PI tools, SQL, Python is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments of moderate complexity with independent judgment
• Lead small engineering projects or tasks coordinating cross-functional teams
• Provide technical support for design, installation, and maintenance of systems
• Participate in evaluation and improvement of technical systems and processes
