Job summary

Middleburg Communities seeks an experienced Community Asset Manager to maximize asset value across a rental portfolio. You will lead leasing velocity, manage budgets, and drive a hospitality-focused resident experience, aligning daily operations with broader asset goals.

The role requires 3+ years in multi-family property management, strong leadership, and proficiency with RealPage OneSite, Knock, and Excel. New construction expertise and Fair Housing knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-family property management experience.
• Strong grasp of asset operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Sales and leasing expertise with occupancy goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in new construction communities.
• Working knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing, and eviction processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive NOI through rent growth, lease-up pacing, and expense control.
• Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets; forecast revenue and capex.
• Interpret P&L, variance analysis, delinquency, and occupancy trends; act on insights.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collections, rent posting, and deposits.
• Identify opportunities for revenue optimization (rent increases, ancillary income).
• Lead on-site sales and leasing activities to meet aggressive occupancy goals.
• Deliver hospitality-forward resident experiences and a luxury service standard.
