Job summary

City University of New York at Lehman College is seeking a Facilities Property Specialist (HEOa) to manage the full lifecycle of college assets and equipment, from acquisition to disposition, under the supervision of the Executive Director of Finance, Compliance, and Controller.

You will oversee inventories, ensure accuracy of asset documentation, coordinate with facilities, IT, procurement, and administrative teams, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.
• Experience with asset management processes and inventory control.
• Ability to communicate policy guidance clearly to the college community.

Responsibilities

• Record full lifecycle management of college assets and equipment.
• Oversee physical inventories and asset documentation.
• Provide clear guidance on property management policies to the College community.
• Review requisitions, purchase orders, and encumbrance documents to reconcile records.
• Ensure compliance with City, State, and Federal regulations.
• Collaborate with facilities, IT, procurement, and administrative teams.
• Perform related duties to support operations.
• Serve as primary contact for property-related inquiries.
