Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an Asset Coordinator to oversee daily movement, tracking, and utilization of equipment across jobsites. You will manage scheduling, rentals, and transfers to maximize company-owned assets and minimize costs.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to coordinate with drivers, vendors, and project teams. You will validate invoices and support accounts payable while ensuring operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Administrative, logistics or equipment coordination experience preferred.
• Familiarity with fleet management, asset tracking, procurement, inventory, and ERP software preferred.
• Experience in logistics/equipment rental, fleet coordination, or related operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain daily equipment transportation schedule for drivers.
• Maintain equipment location, status, and utilization records; target asset utilization.
• Verify availability of company-owned equipment and manage rental purchases and extensions.
• Monitor active rentals and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Validate rental invoices and coordinate with Accounts Payable.
• Serve as primary liaison between project teams, drivers, vendors, and AP.
