Job summary

SEL Transportation, part of the PS Logistics family, seeks an Asset Specialist to work with drivers, leasing companies, and vendors to lease or rent trucks and supply equipment.

You will help drivers with lease options, coordinate with Safety and Operations, and manage inventories and truck assignments. Strong organizational and communication skills, a high school diploma, and leasing/maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Leasing, service writing, or maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers in lease purchasing of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Coordinate with drivers to test equipment and decide on lease options.
• Coordinate with Safety to ensure training qualifications and setup of new drivers.
• Arrange and sign equipment lease and independent contractor agreements.
• Work with Operations and Safety to coordinate truck rentals when needed.
• Handle incoming calls from drivers regarding leasing terms and options.
• Maintain equipment inventories across multiple locations with vendors.
