Job summary

Canoe Intelligence, a Bloomberg Company, is seeking a Data Analyst for Asset Data in New York City or Jacksonville. You will support asset data workflows, ensure data quality, and coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to deliver accurate asset-level data including cost basis, valuations, and operating metrics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, private market data, or related financial services role.
• Strong familiarity with asset-level data points including cost basis, valuations, and operating metrics.
• Process-oriented and organized, with ability to self-manage in remote or hybrid work setting.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy are essential.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across teams and time zones.
• Comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments and open-ended questions.
• Proficiency with Excel and exposure to SQL or data platforms is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support Asset Data Processing Workflows: intake, review, and processing of asset-level data to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
• Review automated outputs, identify exceptions, and resolve issues with senior operations staff.
• Reconcile extraction data against source documents and maintain high-quality client deliverables.
• Be the SME for asset data points and support data manipulation and enrichment.
• Own quality and standardization of asset-level data across the platform.
• Collaborate with Data, Product, and Engineering to communicate needs and roadmap.
