Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Maintenance Planner (Maintenance Asset Care Leader) to lead asset care strategies, maintenance planning and scheduling to improve reliability, quality and safety across the plant.

You will own CMMS data accuracy, set Maximo standards, develop high-quality PMs and job plans, and collaborate with operations, engineering and quality teams to balance equipment needs with labor availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher is required.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing technical field with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to drive results through teamwork and processes.
• Technical knowledge of unit operations and machinery.
• Strong communication across work groups and cross-functional teams.
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis systems (SAP/Maximo).
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of materials and fabrication methods.
• Craft worker experience or strong craft knowledge.
• Familiarity with Maximo and maintenance planning/scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset care strategies for the platform, aligning with budget and reliability goals.
• Communicate impact of performance, cost, and asset health across teams.
• Own CMMS data accuracy and Maximo standards for the team.
• Create high-quality PMs and job plans with labor, materials, and tools.
• Balance equipment and labor availability to deliver plant priorities.
• Mentor and develop maintenance processes and standards.
