Job summary

Diageo is seeking an Asset Care Team Leader in Montgomery, AL to lead a maintenance crew, ensure safe and efficient execution of planned and unplanned work, and drive continuous improvement across equipment centers.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work, coordinating with planners, and spending most of the shift on the floor supporting Mechanics and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or other technical field is required.
• 5+ years manufacturing or maintenance supervision experience.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience.
• Drive systems/transmissions experience.
• Basic Controller/Processor, Industrial Electrical Wiring, Mechanical/Electrical Devices and Circuits experience. SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, food safety and environmental compliance on the crew they manage.
• Distribute work orders and job plans to performers; monitor labor and materials.
• Spend substantial time on the floor engaging with mechanics as the Production liaison for Maintenance.
• Control/Manage job execution including time, cost and quality under supervision.
• Lead safety awareness and continuous improvement initiatives on site.
