Job summary

Diageo's Montgomery, AL site seeks a Maintenance Planner to drive proactive maintenance, coordinate between Engineering, Maintenance and Operations, and optimize storeroom and materials flow. You will develop detailed work plans, prepare requisitions, and lead planning meetings to maximize equipment reliability.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field, 5+ years in manufacturing/maintenance, and experience with SAP and CMMS.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in area of responsibility is required or equivalent experience.
• MBA and/or Six Sigma/CMRP certifications are recommended.
• Strong knowledge of Maintenance Management and Project Management required.
• Experience with SAP and CMMS systems.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, project planning, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and reporting for weekly and periodic Maintenance Planning meetings.
• Develop and communicate short- and medium-range maintenance plans.
• Review maintenance requests for completeness and priority, obtaining approvals.
• Plan jobs with dependencies, provide technical drawings, arrange tools, parts and labor.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and monitor parts delivery for work orders.
• Manage/stock the storeroom and critical spares; keep area organized.
• Assemble planned job packages and schedule execution when resources are on site.
• Prepare schedules, Gantt charts and reports for shutdowns.
• Maintain records and manage maintenance KPIs and equipment history.
• Develop and refine PM programs and procedures for equipment.
