Job summary

Diageo is seeking a seasoned Warehouse & Logistics Manager in Montgomery, AL. This senior site leadership role oversees finished goods warehousing, materials management, logistics, and plant planning at a major spirits facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Significant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse operations, logistics, or planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead Warehouse, Materials, Finished Goods, Logistics, and Planning organizations; provide direction and development.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term warehouse, logistics, inventory, and capacity strategies.
• Own site planning activities: capacity planning, resource requirements, inventory strategy, production volumes, and supply-risk management.
• Ensure reliable finished-goods transportation and warehouse operations to achieve high customer service and schedule adherence.
• Manage warehouse and shipping budgets balancing service, cost, productivity, inventory, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain inventory integrity and product availability while minimizing excess inventory and waste.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving and root-cause resolution for planning, materials, production, logistics, and procurement issues.
• Establish and improve operating processes using continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, DMAIC, TPM, RCM).
• Lead MMS implementation and drive sustainable operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, GMP, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
