Job summary

Diageo seeks an Electromechanic for its Montgomery, AL site to champion a safety-first culture and lead maintenance excellence in a 24/7 operation. You will use SAP data, drive preventative maintenance, and coach operators to improve equipment capability and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, an apprenticeship or mechanical/electrical degree, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. Flexible shift options support 8/10/12-hour rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience performing maintenance tasks in a manufacturing facility.
• Apprenticeship or mechanical/electrical degree recognized.
• Strong problem solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and asset care processes.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety, environmental and food safety standards; ensure Safe Systems of Work.
• Provide Electromechanic resources to the operations team; carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Coach operators on autonomous maintenance tasks and equipment setup optimization.
• Assist with capital projects, installation, commissioning and testing.
• Maintain SAP data accuracy and participate in weekly asset care reviews.
