Bayer in Illinois is seeking an Asset Care Generalist-Farmer City, IL to champion and execute Asset Care and User-Driven Maintenance Management Systems, collaborating across teams to drive reliability and regulatory compliance.

You will lead RCA/Defect Elimination teams, guide inspection strategies for rotating and stationary equipment, and partner with technicians to ensure safe, compliant operations in seed manufacturing production.

Qualifications

High School Diploma with 7+ years of experience.
BS in Agriculture, Engineering, Maintenance, or related field with 4+ years' experience.
Background in mechanical, chemical, electrical/instrumentation, or electromechanical engineering.
Expertise in reliability-centered maintenance and asset performance management.
Strong cross-functional technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Champion Asset Care and User-Driven Maintenance Management Systems.
Collaborate across teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement.
Lead RCA/Defect Elimination teams to resolve recurring asset challenges.
Guide inspection strategy, material selection, weld quality, and rotating asset performance.
Support compliance with OSHA, EPA and local regulations.
