Associated Bank’s Asset Based Lending team seeks a leader to guide a regional group of lending professionals in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis. You will oversee credit risk, portfolio administration, and client solutions while driving relationship growth.

With 10+ years in asset-based or corporate lending and 7+ years of leadership, you will coach managers, monitor portfolio health, and coordinate due diligence from review to close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 10+ years of asset-based lending, commercial banking, or corporate lending experience.
• 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably managing five or more direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of lending professionals with coaching, performance management, and hiring support.
• Oversee portfolio administration and credit risk management to ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze credit decisions and guide risk mitigation strategies based on client performance.
• Coordinate due diligence activities and partner with stakeholders throughout the lending process, from review to close.
• Monitor portfolio performance, loan repayments, and client financial health to maintain credit quality.
