Job summary

The Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT), Real Property Division, Prince George’s County Assessment Office, seeks an Assessor Manager, Real Property, to supervise and train a team of residential assessors and team leaders in a local office. You will oversee inspections, data entry, and appeal hearings to ensure fair market valuation and targeted deadlines.

Qualifications

• Nine years of experience in real property appraisal and valuation.
• Experience supervising residential assessors and team leads.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor residential reassessment assignments for timely completion.
• Review and approve reassessment work logs and samples.
• Conduct inspections and process changes for reassessment accounts.
• Conduct sales analyses to establish land rates and neighborhood indexes.
