Job summary

Carrollton Springs is seeking an Assessment RN on a PRN schedule to support the behavioral health department with clinical, operational and administrative excellence. You will assess patients, participate in treatment planning, and communicate with external review organizations as needed.

Applicants should be graduates of an accredited nursing program with an active State Board of Nursing license. Experience in psychiatric care and CPR/de-escalation certification within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in psychiatric health care facilities with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.

How You'll Contribute

An Assessment RN is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational and administrative excellence.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should be a graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing. Additional requirements include:

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• Experience in patient assessment, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
• CPR and de-escalation certification is required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
