Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Michigan is seeking a dynamic leader to supervise the Assessment & Referral and Admitting departments, coordinating with the Director and assisting with policy implementation. The role includes completing initial pre-authorizations reviews and scheduling staff as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a Master’s degree in Social Work with at least three years of clinical hospital experience and current Michigan licensure (LMSW/LMFT/LPC or RN).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Social Work is required.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience required.
• Work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current License in the State of Michigan as a LMSW, LMFT, LPC or RN is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Assessment & Referral and Admitting staff in the director's absence.
• Provides feedback on staff performance evaluations.
• Obtains pre-certification for admitted patients.
• Coordinates with UM team on admissions and authorization issues.
• Maintains census boards and reports for senior management.
