Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a dynamic leader to supervise the Assessment & Referral and Admitting departments in the director’s absence. You will guide staff, ensure pre-certifications, and coordinate with UM teams to streamline admissions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing or a Master’s in Social Work, plus at least three years of clinical experience and a current Michigan license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Social Work is required.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience is required.
• Management experience is preferred.
• Current Michigan licenses (LMSW, LMFT, LPC or RN) required.
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the Assessment & Referral and Admitting staff in the director’s absence.
• Provides feedback on staff performance evaluations and development.
• Obtains pre-certification for patients admitted for care.
• Coordinates with UM team on admissions and authorizations as needed.
• Maintains census boards and reports for senior management.
