Job summary

Lone Star College invites applicants for a Coordinator III, Assessment and Evaluation. You will coordinate day-to-day assessment and evaluation reporting, training, and research needs for administrators, faculty, and staff, promoting system-wide use of tools and data.

The role provides technical support and guidance on assessment processes, builds complex reports (Excel, Access, Power BI), and delivers training sessions. Occasional travel to LSCS locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with higher education assessment or program evaluation preferred.
• Knowledge of SACSCOC assessment-related standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing guidance and technical support to campus units engaged in institutional assessment, program review, and evaluation activities.
• Supports administration of the assessment management system (e.g., Blackboard-Planning, Blackboard-Outcomes) by maintaining user access and permissions, entity structures, and reporting.
• Conducts research and data analysis; develops complex reports and data sets (Excel, Access, Power BI); presents findings to leadership.
• Develops and delivers training sessions, presentations, and workshops related to assessment processes and program review.
• Responds to campus inquiries with accurate, detailed support and assistance.
• Develops and administers web-based surveys, monitors responses, analyzes results to support improvement activities.
• Leads special projects as needed and contributes to new program development.
