Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a Manager of Assessments to lead the strategic implementation and operation of local, state, and national assessment programs across the network. You will supervise a team of coordinators and ensure campuses comply with testing requirements while promoting a data-driven culture.

The role emphasizes systems for distributing assessments, data analysis, and professional development for staff. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and K-12 experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in a K-12 setting as an instructional leader, academic program manager, or assessment coordinator.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in schools serving historically underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage designated assessments across grade levels and content areas.
• Oversee network-wide systems for distributing assessments to teachers and students.
• Ensure 100% compliance with state and national testing mandates.
• Develop and manage data systems for registration, participation tracking, and reporting.
• Coach Campus Testing Coordinators and deliver high-impact training on testing logistics.
