Job summary

Town of East Hartford is seeking an Assessment Systems Coordinator to handle assessment data and CAMA processing with accuracy. The role requires advanced PC skills, strong communication, and knowledge of assessment procedures and statutes.

You will balance lists, manage property records, and support the Revaluation Team while interacting with the public. Responsibilities include data entry, reporting, and maintaining CAMA data, with opportunities to work on special projects and website updates

Qualifications

• Associate degree with major in business/public administration or related field.
• Minimum three years in an administrative role with computer use.

Responsibilities

• Process assessment data and enter CAMA information accurately.
• Prepare and maintain state reporting and property records.
• Provide public service and respond to inquiries from taxpayers.
• Maintain and update CAMA and Excel files, photo logs.
• Coordinate with IT for website updates and assist the Assessor's Office.
