Job summary

Methodist Home for Children Inc. operates the Bridges Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center in Winston-Salem, NC, providing comprehensive juvenile assessments for youth aged 10 to 17 within a residential setting.

We are seeking a Night Shift Supervisor (7 PM – 7 AM) to lead and inspire the caregiving team. The role emphasizes hands-on supervision of Youth Care Workers, direct care delivery, and active youth engagement in assessments, with a focus on safety and service matching for Level II

Qualifications

• Age requirement: At least 21 years old.
• Experience: Background in a human services field, particularly working with youth.
• Leadership: Previous supervisory or staff management experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Licensing: A valid driver’s license.
• Compliance: Ability to pass pre-employment background, driving, and substance screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision and training to Youth Care Workers, fostering a supportive and effective team environment.
• Implement direct care services and ensure the delivery of high-quality support to youth in our care.
• Actively engage youth in assessment activities, helping them unlock their potential and find the services that match their needs.
• Monitor and maintain the safety and integrity of the physical property, ensuring a secure environment for all.

Our mission is to create brighter futures for Level II offenders, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join us on this journey.
