Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health Services, part of Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC, seeks an Assessment Coordinator (MA/MSW) for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. The role centers on mental health assessments, admissions coordination, and collaborating with psychiatrists to determine level of care.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, perform pre-certifications and utilization reviews, maintain documentation, and build strong referral relationships while supporting

Admissions Clinicianis responsible for conducting mental health assessments, communicating with psychiatrists in determining level of care needed, facilitating admissions and referrals to and from other agenciesand treatment centers,conducting pre-certifications and utilization reviews, and fostering positive relationships with all referral sources.The Clinician is required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to assure accurate coordination of care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Master’s Degree in Counseling or Behavioral Health (Counseling, Social Work, Sociology or Psychology) or relatable field with relevant experience in intake and admissions. State License preferred(LISW, LMSW, LPC, etc.)

Registered Nurses (RNs) encouraged to apply.

Minimum one year experience in mental health setting performing assessments.
