Job summary

Tulane University is seeking an Assessment Analyst II to advance university assessment efforts across academic programs and administrative units. The role guides objective development, selects appropriate methods, and uses results to inform future practices.

Under the Director of Assessment, you will design and administer surveys, analyze data, and translate findings into clear reports, dashboards, and online tools. You will also manage course evaluations and faculty activity reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a field closely related to assessment and/or survey design and analysis.
• Three years of related work experience with data visualization, survey administration, or similar assessment efforts.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in a related field.
• Experience with data dashboards and higher education assessment is a plus.
• Proficiency with statistical software (R, SPSS, SAS, STATA) or advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Advance university assessment efforts for academic programs and administrative units.
• Design and administer surveys and analyze results; communicate findings via reports and visualizations.
• Manage the course evaluation process and faculty activity reporting system.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote data-informed practices.
• Prepare materials for diverse audiences and maintain electronic assessment records.
