Job summary

Ascend Staffing is seeking an Assembly Worker for a hands-on manufacturing role in Romeoville, IL. Earn $19.89 per hour while helping assemble industrial hose products and components.

Training starts on first shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) before moving to the 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:00 AM). This temp-to-hire position offers weekly pay and benefits.

You will use basic hand tools, read instructions, and maintain a clean, safe workstation while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to work the regular 2nd Shift schedule (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) and attend initial training.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to use or learn to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a positive attitude toward workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial hoses, fittings, and related components according to production specifications and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment to accurately complete manufacturing tasks.
• Inspect finished products and components for defects, proper fit, and quality standards.
• Follow production orders, assembly instructions, and established manufacturing procedures to meet daily production goals.
• Prepare materials, organize parts, and maintain an efficient workflow throughout the assembly process.
• Report product defects, equipment issues, and safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation while following company safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production team members and supervisors to complete quality products on time.

Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment.
