Job summary

Ascend Staffing in Cedar Park, TX is hiring for a Quality Control position. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00am to 2:30pm with weekly pay and a starting rate of $18.50 per hour.

This is an on-site opportunity with health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance. Key duties include measuring and cutting wire to spec, manually winding copper coils, aligning components, inspecting finished work, and keeping the work area safe and organized.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing and assembly line experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions in English.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work a 10–12 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut wire to required lengths using precision tools.
• Wind copper wire onto coils and secure components.
• Ensure proper tension and alignment during winding.
• Inspect finished assemblies and verify tolerances.
• Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and compliant with safety rules.

Weekly Pay

Align, fit, and secure components using screws, bolts, clips, or welding and adhesive equipment.

Inspect finished assemblies and measure parts to verify they meet precise specifications and tolerances.

Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and compliant with safety rules.

Requirements/Skills

Manufacturing and assembly line experience is required

Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout a 10-12 hour shift.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions in English

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
