Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves and actuators.
• Use dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to verify build specifications.
• Operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy with torque wrenches, fixtures, and gauging.
• Follow assembly drawings, worksheets and test specifications.
• Diagnose test failures and perform rework to meet test requirements.
• Clean components to required cleanliness levels and support repair units.

Our Space and Defense Group is seeking skilled Assembly and Test Technician I & II on 2nd and 3rd shift who take pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail. In this role, you'll assemble complex, high-precision components used in critical aerospace and defense applications. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform several precision assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, and systems.
• Assembly activity uses a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to obtain proper build requirements.
• Perform test activity that requires the use of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling and gauging.
• Work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and oral.
• Diagnose test failures and perform necessary rework in order that the unit will pass test requirements.
• Clean components to required cleanliness levels.
• May work on repair units normally run with production units.
• Positively contribute to the teamwork environment regarding productivity, initiative, cooperation, data collection and attitude.
