Moog Inc. is seeking Assembly and Test Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts at the Buffalo, NY site. You will assemble high-precision components used in aerospace and defense, using precise measuring tools and performing tests to ensure compliance with specifications.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience. FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required for safety-sensitive work, with a 10% shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy with torque wrenches and gauging.
• Follow assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and test specifications.
• Diagnose test failures and perform rework to pass tests.
• Clean components to required cleanliness levels.
• May work on repair units alongside production units.
• Contribute to teamwork, productivity, and data collection.

We are seeking skilled Assembly and Test Technicians on 2nd and 3rd shift who take pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail. In this role, you'll assemble complex, high-precision components used in critical aerospace and defense applications. To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a related technical field.
• In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company's "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

As an Assembly and Test Technician, you will:

• Perform several precision assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, and systems.
• Assembly activity uses a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to obtain proper build requirements.
• Perform test activity that requires the use of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling and gauging.
• Work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and oral.
• Diagnose test failures and perform necessary rework in order that the unit will pass test requirements.
• Clean components to required cleanliness levels.
• May work on repair units normally run with production units.
• Positively contribute to the teamwork environment regarding productivity, initiative, cooperation, data collection and attitude.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $22.00-$32.00 Hourly
