Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks an Assembly Test Implementation Engineer to lead the preparation, execution, and closure of SPARC assembly test activities. You will collaborate with engineering and technician teams to validate procedures, manage hazards, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 5+ years of engineering testing experience with high voltage hazards, and proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, Acrobat, and 3D modeling tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field
• 5 years of engineering experience
• Experience with hazards and high voltage electrical testing
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam/Acrobat
• Experience with 3D modeling tools

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and close SPARC Assembly test activities.
• Review/test procedures and mitigate risks with engineering and technician teams.
• Collaborate with technicians for pre-test walkdowns and mock-up testing.
• Develop SPARC Assembly workflow proficiency and document results.
• Provide direction to overcome impediments during testing and ensure safety compliance.
• Demonstrate proper demobilization and inventory handling after tests.
