Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by checking connections for fit and fastening parts.
• Resolves assembly problems by adjusting dimensions to meet specs and notifying supervisor.
• Keeps equipment operational by performing preventive maintenance.
• Maintains inventory by checking stock and expediting supplies as needed.
• Communicates with supervisor about potential issues.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows procedures and rules.
