Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) in Sanford, NC, is seeking an Assembly Technician to support remanufacturing and production of mechanical parts. You will disassemble, clean, rebuild, assemble, inspect, and prepare parts for shipping, rotating through production tasks to maintain flow and quality.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Training is provided; you will join a safety-focused team that values integrity and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Associate degree or Industrial Skills Training/Certificate preferred.
• Ability to move precise parts and perform assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate remanufactured parts including but not limited to disassemble assemblies for remanufacture.
• Clean, prep, and paint assemblies for remanufacturing.
• Rebuild components to generate complete assemblies.
• Perform quality checks and conduct final inspections prior to shipping parts.
• Rotate through all tasks required in production processes.
• Prepare parts for shipments to customer: cleaning, assembling, packaging
• Operate machinery for manufacturing and assembly parts
• Support machinist staff
