Job summary

Solar Turbines is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a dynamic team. You will install and test mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment using engineering drawings to meet product requirements.

You will read schematics, follow established procedures, and assist with electrical testing. Availability for 1st/2nd shifts and overtime is expected; a technical vocational program is required.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands engineering drawings, work instructions, schematics, and technical documents.
• Performs basic computer operations.
• Is available for 1st and 2nd shifts; overtime as needed.
• Completion of a technical vocational program is required.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
• Reads schematics and follows procedures to ensure safe, defect-free operations.
• Uses lifting and rigging equipment to move work pieces and positions assemblies.
• Supports testing and alignment of piping, systems, and instruments as needed.
