Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, inspection, testing, calibration, and verification of nano-positioning, electro-mechanical devices, controllers, and related components in accordance with established work instructions, drawings, schematics, test procedures, and quality standards.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment, test equipment, software, fixtures, and hand tools safely and effectively while developing mechanical and electrical assembly skills.
  • Review test results, identify defects or process concerns, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues using appropriate technical documentation and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly steps, test results, inspections, nonconformances, and production transactions in accordance with documentation requirements.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to support procedures, reduce defects, and contribute to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.

Summary

The Assembly Technician I plays an important role in building and testing precision electro-mechanical products that support advanced manufacturing and healthcare technology. In this entry-level role, you will follow established work instructions, drawings, schematics, test procedures, and quality standards to help ensure products meet safety, quality, delivery, and customer requirements. You will maintain accurate documentation, identify and communicate defects or process concerns, and partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other team members to support reliable manufacturing execution.

Primary Responsibilities

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits
  • The base pay for this position is starting at $23.00 per hour depending on the geographic market.

  • This position provides an opportunity for competitive quarterly sales compensation based on an achievement to plan.
