Premier Packaging in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a reliable Assembly Technician to join our production team. You will read assembly instructions, operate hand and power tools, and help meet daily production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret assembly instructions, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Basic math for counting and measuring and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stitch gun, glue gun, hand bander, heat gun and bundler.
• Follow assembly procedures to ensure correct product assembly.
• Perform general housekeeping of workstation and common areas.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products to meet standards.
• Handle and transport corrugated materials within the assembly area.
• Collaborate with forklift operators or other material handlers as needed.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Collaborate with team to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
