Job summary

Randstad USA in Milpitas is seeking an assembler to support a large expansion. This role involves PCB and electronics assembly, detailed production drawings, and working in a cleanroom environment.

Shift is first, hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. No degree is required, and 1 year of assembly experience is preferred. Employees may convert to full-time internal staff after 9 months of service and receive a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCB/electronic assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow detailed production drawings.
• Position and align small parts in jigs or fixtures.
• Crimp, stake, screw, rivet, weld, solder, or secure parts as required.
• Willingness to work in an ISO 7 Cleanroom.
• Maintain high mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Use basic tools and navigate basic PC functions.
• Communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Work with small/miniature components and larger parts as needed.

Job description

We are going through a massive expansion of our workforce and are offering Monday through Friday work for candidates with PCB and or Clean Room experience to operate as an Assembler. Employees in good standing are consistently converted to full time internal employees with Flex after 9 months of service.

salary: $24 - $26.4 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders, follows detailed production drawings and sample assemblies.
• Positions and aligns small parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding devices.
• Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Willingness to work in an ISO 7 Cleanroom for many positions
• High mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills - able to navigate basic PC functions
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to use basic tooling - hand tools, torque drivers, etc.
• High attention to detail
• Ability to perform work utilizing magnification if needed
• Ability to work on small/miniature components and larger components as needed

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
