Job summary

TASI Measurement is seeking a full-time 1st-shift Assembly Technician for our Marlborough, MA production team. You will assemble a wide variety of electronic equipment using basic hand and power tools, and you will test and calibrate components to ensure quality.

We value teamwork, safety, and reliability, with opportunities to grow in a supportive, hands-on environment. Must have HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of professional manufacturing experience preferred, especially with assembly.
• Basic familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft 365 and ERP familiarity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Soldering on TH and SMT components is highly preferred.
• Basic electronics and troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using hand and power tools following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Test and calibrate electronic components using automated test software.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and correct defects.
• Maintain production pace to meet targets and uphold quality.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment with proper labeling.
• Complete tasks within deadlines while keeping area clean and organized.
• Communicate clearly with staff to support teamwork and resolve issues.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a full time, 1st- shift Assembly Technician for our industrial electronics production team. The Technician will assemble a wide variety of electronic equipment using basic hand and power tools as well as test and calibration in a clean, climate‑controlled work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assemble products using basic hand tools and power tools, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Test and calibrate electronic components using automated test software to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, identifying and correcting any defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain a consistent pace of work to achieve production targets and uphold quality requirements.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment, ensuring all items are securely packed and properly labeled.
• Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes while keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with other staff members to support teamwork and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
• Other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with product assembly.
• Shipping / Receiving experience a plus.
• Basic familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and ERP systems.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to perform soldering on both through‑hole (TH) and surface‑mount technology (SMT) electronic components, highly preferred.
• Basic electronics and troubleshooting knowledge, highly preferred.

Working Conditions

• Physical Demands:Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Able to lift and carry up to 20lbs, bend, reach, squat.
• Visual Demands:Must be able to look at a computer monitor for extended periods.
• Manufacturing Environment:Must be able to work in a manufacturing company, which may involve exposure to machinery, noise, and other industrial conditions.

Pay Transparency:

The compensation range for this position is $22.00/hour, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.In addition to base compensation, this role includes a comprehensive benefit package which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
