Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical products and components.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, repair, and rework of assemblies.
- Use soldering equipment, multimeters, hand tools, and other testing equipment.
- Perform electrical rework including cable repairs, surface-mount (SMT), and through-hole PCB rework.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues and help identify root causes.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Read and follow work instructions, schematics, drawings, and testing procedures.
- Document testing, repairs, rework, and other manufacturing activities.
- Assist with developing and improving work instructions and manufacturing processes.
- Use spreadsheets to track and organize production and testing information.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Manage day-to-day responsibilities independently while maintaining strong quality and productivity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's Degree or two-year Technical diploma
- 1–2+ years of manufacturing experience involving electronic, mechanical, robotic, or electromechanical assembly.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical/electronic components using soldering equipment and multimeters.
- Experience with cable repair and surface-mount and/or through-hole PCB rework.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Comfortable using common hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and detailed work instructions.
- Experience documenting testing procedures, work instructions, or manufacturing processes.
- Basic spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain a high level of quality.
- ERP and/or PLM system experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable bending, reaching, and working in and around manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to safely perform hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair work.
