Job summary

Mister Car Wash, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble mechanical and electrical components for carwash systems.

You will interpret blueprints, follow procedures, and work with jigs and power tools to build equipment in a fast-paced team environment. You will keep daily and monthly build schedules on track, perform routine inspections, assist with packaging shipments, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse.
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to become certified).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and use of hand/tools.
• Ability to read assembly instructions, schematics, and production documents.
• Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.

Job description

The Assembly Technician assembles various components and equipment for carwash systems. Works closely with the team to meet daily and monthly build schedules, ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of production goals while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

Assembly

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components used in Mister Car Wash systems, ensuring parts are built to specification and meet operational performance standards.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to correctly build equipment.
• Follow established procedures for the assembly process, including the use of jigs, fixtures, and specialized tools.
• Perform routine inspections on assembled components to identify any defects, deviations, or nonconformance with specifications, report findings to team lead.

Package and Prepare Shipments

• Package completed equipment and prepare items for shipment, including palletizing, labeling, and securing freight according to shipping guidelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products using manual or powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).

Workspace Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to housekeeping and safety protocols.
• Clean and organize inventory storage areas to help maintain efficiency and accuracy.
