Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Meridian, ID is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the Production team. You'll assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components from drawings, work instructions, and specs, ensuring quality and safety during start-up.

This swing-shift role offers hands-on building of equipment, use of shop floor software to track labor and materials, and opportunities to grow skills in mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
• Ability to read assembly blueprints, technical drawings, plumbing schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Ability to assemble and install mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
• Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic testing devices.
• Ability to use process pipe-welding equipment

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components using engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Use a Personal Computer and shop floor control software to accurately track labor and material usage.
• Troubleshoot equipment and components during assembly and start-up to ensure quality performance.
• Use measuring tools, hand tools, and testing equipment while following established quality and safety procedures.
• Complete final assembly and system integration while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the Production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to work hands-on building equipment from components to finished systems in a safety-focused environment.

Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Meridian, ID
Pay Range: $20 - $24 an hour plus $2 for Swing Shift differential
Shift: Swing shift
