Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean components prior to assembling them.
• Confirm that the types and quantities of components match those listed in the paperwork provided with the assembly job.
• Set up and operate drill presses, vices, fixtures, and other equipment required for each assembly job.
• Read and follow assembly instructions.
• Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
• Identify any incorrect parts and notify a supervisor.
• Perform final testing of finished parts prior to packaging for shipment.
• Return excess or unused parts to the appropriate locations (inventory, quality, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Support the efficient operation of Custom Cylinders.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of prior experience in assembly.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to read drawings and assembly instructions.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Ability to handle and manipulate small parts.

Compensation

$18.00 – $25.00 per hour.
